Your Privacy Rights
Last updated: August 6, 2026
BRZ News (operated by NWX Capital Group) is a U.S. company serving a primarily U.S. audience. This page is the practical guide to the privacy rights available to you and how to exercise them. It complements our Privacy Policy, which describes in full what we collect and why.
1. Who this page is for
These rights are granted by U.S. state privacy laws — most notably the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the CPRA — and by comparable laws in states such as Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah and Texas. We extend the same request process to every reader in the United States, regardless of state, so you do not have to check whether your state has passed a law yet.
2. What you can ask us to do
- Know — what categories of personal information we have collected about you, where it came from, why we collected it, and who we shared it with.
- Access — receive a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
- Correct — have inaccurate personal information fixed.
- Delete — have your personal information deleted, subject to legal exceptions (for example, records we must keep for tax or fraud-prevention purposes).
- Opt out of sale or sharing — we do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. There is nothing to opt out of, and we will tell you here if that ever changes.
- Limit use of sensitive information — we do not use sensitive personal information for purposes requiring a limitation right.
- Non-discrimination — we will not deny service, charge a different price, or provide a lower quality of service because you exercised any of these rights.
3. How to submit a request
Email info@brznews.com from the address associated with your account, with the subject line “Privacy Request”, and tell us which right you want to exercise. Using your account email is how we verify the request — it prevents someone else from obtaining or deleting your data. If you do not have an account, we may ask for additional information to confirm your identity, used only for that verification.
4. How long we take
We confirm receipt within 10 business days and respond substantively within 45 calendar days. If a request is complex, we may extend once by a further 45 days and will tell you why before doing so.
5. Authorised agents
You may use an authorised agent to submit a request on your behalf. We will ask the agent for written permission signed by you, and we may still contact you directly to confirm that you authorised the request.
6. Global Privacy Control
Where legally required, we honour Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals sent by your browser as a valid opt-out request.
7. Readers outside the United States
If you are in the EEA, the UK or Switzerland, the GDPR section of our Privacy Policy sets out your rights. If you are located in Brazil, Brazil's Lei Geral de Proteção de Dados (LGPD) applies based on your location, and the corresponding section of our Privacy Policy describes those rights, including your right to contact our Data Protection Officer at info@brznews.com.
8. Questions
For anything about this page or how we handle personal information, contact info@brznews.com. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact your state attorney general.
