Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 1, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how NWX Capital Group, operator of BRZ News (“we,” “us”), collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information when you use brznews.com, BRZ News PRO, and related services. We built BRZ News for a global audience, so this policy is written to address rights under Brazil's LGPD, the EU/UK GDPR, and U.S. state privacy laws like the CCPA/CPRA, in addition to general best practice.

1. Information we collect

  • Account information: name, email address, and password (or SSO identifier) when you sign up.
  • Subscription & billing information: plan, billing address, and payment details — processed by our payment provider; we do not store full card numbers.
  • Usage data: pages viewed, features used, device/browser type, IP address, and approximate location, collected automatically via cookies and similar technologies (see our Cookies Policy).
  • Content you provide: messages you send via our Contact or demo-booking forms, and any input you give to Albert (AI) within BRZ News PRO.
  • Communications: your preferences for newsletters, alerts, and marketing, and your interactions with them (opens, clicks).

2. How we use your information

  • To provide, maintain, and improve the Services, including personalizing your dashboard and watchlists.
  • To process subscriptions, send billing notices, and manage your account.
  • To send newsletters, product updates, and — where you've opted in — marketing communications, which you can unsubscribe from at any time.
  • To monitor for fraud, abuse, and violations of our Terms of Service.
  • To comply with legal obligations and respond to lawful requests from authorities.

3. Cookies & tracking technologies

We use essential, functional, analytics, and (where applicable) advertising cookies. Non-essential cookies are only set with your consent where required by law (e.g., under GDPR). See our Cookies Policy for the full list of categories and how to manage your preferences, including honoring browser-based opt-out signals such as Global Privacy Control (GPC) where applicable.

4. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with:

  • Service providers who process data on our behalf (e.g., cloud hosting, payment processing, email delivery, customer relationship management), under contractual confidentiality and data-protection obligations.
  • Professional advisers (legal, accounting) when necessary.
  • Authorities, if required by law, regulation, or valid legal process.
  • A successor entity in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy continuing to apply to your information.

5. Your rights — Brazil (LGPD)

If you are located in Brazil, the Lei Geral de Proteção de Dados (LGPD) grants you the right to: confirm whether we process your data; access it; correct incomplete, inaccurate, or outdated data; request anonymization, blocking, or deletion of unnecessary or excessive data; request portability to another provider; obtain information about entities with whom we've shared your data; and revoke your consent at any time. To exercise these rights, contact our Data Protection Officer (Encarregado) at info@brznews.com. You may also lodge a complaint with Brazil's Autoridade Nacional de Proteção de Dados (ANPD).

6. Your rights — EU/UK (GDPR)

If you are located in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, or restrict processing of your personal data; object to processing based on legitimate interest or for direct marketing; request data portability; and withdraw consent at any time without affecting prior lawful processing. You may lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

7. Your rights — California & other U.S. states (CCPA/CPRA)

If you are a California resident (or a resident of another U.S. state with a comparable privacy law), you have the right to know what personal information we collect and how it's used; request deletion or correction of your information; opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information (we do not sell personal information); and not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals where legally required. To submit a request, email info@brznews.com.

8. Data retention

We retain personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.

9. Security

We use industry-standard technical and organizational safeguards (encryption in transit, access controls, cloud provider security certifications) to protect your information. No system is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Children's privacy

The Services are not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

11. International data transfers

We may process and store information in countries other than your own, including the United States. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) for cross-border transfers.

12. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised version here with a new “Last updated” date, and, for material changes, provide additional notice where required by law.

13. Contact us

Questions or requests regarding this Policy or your personal data can be sent to info@brznews.com or via our Contact page.
