SÃO PAULO — Brazilian cloud, data, and cybersecurity provider Skyone has announced the acquisition of São Paulo-based private cloud operator ADD IT. The transaction represents the largest purchase in Skyone's history and marks its first major deal since global private equity firm Advent International led the company's Series C funding round. While the financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed, the move signals a rapid acceleration of private equity-backed consolidation within Latin America’s mid-market digital infrastructure and artificial intelligence sectors.

The acquisition of ADD IT, which operates Tier III data centers in Brazil, integrates over 90 corporate clients into Skyone's existing portfolio of more than 25,000 customers. Skyone closed 2025 with approximately R$ 400 million ($77 million USD) in revenue and projects 50% growth in 2026, driven by both organic expansion and the integration of ADD IT. The company is actively targeting further acquisitions across Latin America, specifically focusing on cybersecurity, data integration, and AI-driven systems.

This consolidation wave comes amid broader macroeconomic shifts in South America's largest economy. In the financial markets, the benchmark Ibovespa today trades near 177,548 points, while the USD BRL currency pair is hovering around 5.05. For international investors monitoring the Brazil ETF (EWZ) or major Brazilian ADRs, the accelerating M&A activity in the technology sector highlights a growing appetite for high-growth, recurring-revenue assets despite persistent high local interest rates. Skyone’s M&A pipeline currently maps over 400 potential targets, signaling that mid-market tech consolidation will remain a key theme for private equity in Brazil over the next 12 to 24 months.
