The Brazilian LegalTech startup Enter has achieved a $1.2 billion valuation in a Series B funding round, making it Latin America's first Artificial Intelligence (AI) unicorn and signaling a new phase of maturity in Brazil's deep-tech sector. The São Paulo-based company, founded in 2023, raised over $100 million in the round, which was led by Founders Fund, with participation from top-tier Silicon Valley investors including Sequoia Capital and Ribbit Capital, among others. The funding recognizes Enter's success in applying advanced AI to one of the country's most complex structural challenges: an overloaded judicial system with over 80 million active legal cases.

Enter’s technology focuses on automating end-to-end civil and labor litigation processes for large corporate clients that face high volumes of lawsuits in Brazil. For companies operating in this market, the cost and administrative burden of managing mass litigation—a common occurrence for banks and large retailers—can be immense. The AI platform is designed to navigate this complexity, performing tasks like analyzing lawsuits, estimating optimal settlement costs, and drafting preliminary legal defenses.

The company's rapid ascent reflects the urgent need for its solution. Enter's revenue has grown more than ten times in the past year, with the platform processing over 300,000 judicial cases annually. Its client roster includes major Brazilian institutions and multinational firms operating in the region, such as Bradesco, Nubank, Mercado Livre, and LATAM Airlines. The platform creates a powerful data flywheel: the more cases it processes, the better its machine learning models become at predicting outcomes and optimizing defense strategies, leading to significant reductions in cost and operational efficiency for clients.

The involvement of globally recognized venture capital firms, especially the participation of Sequoia and Founders Fund, validates the thesis that Brazil's specific market challenges—in this case, its uniquely litigious environment—can create defensible, scalable deep-tech opportunities. The company was founded by former executives from the Brazilian gaming giant Wildlife Studios, bringing a product-focused, engineering-driven mindset to a traditionally conservative legal sector. This financing triples Enter's valuation in less than a year, underscoring the investor conviction in the market's potential.

What to watch next is Enter’s planned expansion. The company’s stated mission is to build the “operating system for legal departments” from Brazil to the world. As the platform solidifies its dominance in the highly fragmented Brazilian market, the next step will be to leverage its AI models—trained on the world’s most intense corporate litigation data set—to enter other jurisdictions in Latin America and potentially beyond.

What it touches This Series B round represents a significant capital injection into the Brazilian B2B technology sector, raising the profile of Brazil's start-up ecosystem as a viable destination for global venture capital in the Artificial Intelligence space. The valuation validates the strategy of building deep-tech solutions for local, complex infrastructure problems, a trend that typically attracts private equity and venture capital funds focused on Latin America.
