Aura Minerals declares $0.72 dividend after record gold output
Aura Minerals will pay a $0.72 dividend on November 27, 2026, following record gold equivalent production driven by its Borborema mine in Brazil.

Global gold mining stocks are delivering direct cash returns to retail portfolios as high metal prices and operational expansions boost corporate balance sheets. Investors holding shares in mid-tier precious metals producers are seeing the immediate benefits of this commodity tailwind directly in their brokerage accounts.
On November 5, 2026, gold and copper producer Aura Minerals announced a dividend of $0.72 per common share. The dividend will be paid in U.S. dollars on November 27, 2026, to shareholders of record as of the close of business on November 18, 2026. The total payout for common shares is valued at approximately $60.42 million.
The cash distribution follows a record-breaking third quarter of 2026 for the company, heavily driven by its expanding operations in Brazil. Aura Minerals reported a record quarterly production of 95,557 gold equivalent ounces (GEO), representing a 27% increase compared to the second quarter of 2026. The primary driver of this growth was the Borborema mine, an open-pit gold project located in the Rio Grande do Norte state of northeastern Brazil. Borborema delivered a quarterly record of 22,842 GEO, surging 60% quarter-over-quarter as the plant accessed higher-grade ore and optimized its filtering systems.
Brazil is a key jurisdiction for global mining companies, known for its vast geological wealth. Beyond iron ore, the country hosts significant deposits of precious metals, copper, bauxite, and nickel. Aura Minerals has capitalized on these local resources by transitioning several of its Brazilian assets—including Borborema, Almas, and Apoena—from third-party contractors to in-house fleet operations to better control inflation and reduce operational costs starting in January 2027.
The operational surge has significantly strengthened Aura's financial position. The company reported adjusted EBITDA of $236.9 million for the third quarter of 2026. This brought its year-to-date adjusted EBITDA to $677.4 million, which is already 24% higher than the company's full-year results for 2025. Supported by a strong cash balance of $418 million and a low leverage ratio of 0.2 times net debt to EBITDA, the company was able to fund $71 million in dividends and buybacks during the quarter while continuing to finance its pipeline of growth projects.
