State-Controlled Banco do Brasil Partners With iFood to Finance Gig Workers’ Motorcycles

One of Brazil’s largest state-controlled banks, Banco do Brasil, has launched a partnership with the delivery platform iFood to accelerate the government’s low-interest credit line for the country’s vast gig workforce, specifically targeting delivery workers who use motorcycles or electric bikes. The collaboration aims to boost the uptake of the government-sponsored *Move Brasil Motos* program by offering 100% financing for new vehicles over up to 48 months to iFood's delivery partners, with preferential rates of 0.90% per month for women and 0.97% per month for men.
