Latin America’s rapid transition toward renewable power is creating massive opportunities to invest in Brazil’s clean energy infrastructure. In April 2026, renewable sources accounted for 67% of Latin America's total electricity generation mix, with Brazil leading the region at an impressive 88% clean energy metric, according to data from the Latin American Energy Organization (Olade). This structural regional demand is driving specialized clean energy real estate funds (FIIs) to scale rapidly.

Suno Asset’s flagship clean energy FII, SNEL11, is capturing this momentum by launching its fifth share issuance. The capital raise has the potential to scale the fund’s net equity from R$ 889.9 million up to R$ 3.29 billion, assuming the full allocation of shares and the additional lot. This aggressive expansion plan aims to increase SNEL11’s total solar portfolio capacity from 149.4 MWp to 635.2 MWp, effectively multiplying its project count from 37 to 224 operational and development-stage solar plants across Brazil.

This massive scale-up comes as Brazilian equities show broad strength. On the B3 exchange, the Ibovespa today climbed to 177,547.56 points, up 2.44%. Major B3 stocks and global ADRs also posted solid gains, with state-run oil firm Petrobras (PBR) rising as local shares PETR4 gained 2.21% to R$ 42.58, mining giant Vale (VALE) advancing as VALE3 rose 3.96% to R$ 75.1, and financial heavyweight Itaú Unibanco (ITUB) gaining 0.87% to R$ 42.9.

For international investors accessing the market via the Brazil ETF (EWZ), the rapid growth of specialized infrastructure vehicles like SNEL11 highlights a maturing market where alternative real estate and energy assets are gaining significant liquidity. In June 2026, SNEL11 recorded a historic liquidity milestone on the B3, with over R$ 150 million in monthly trading volume as its investor base expanded to over 111,000 cotistas, underscoring the rising demand for green infrastructure assets in the region.
