American retail investors holding shares of international industrial companies just received clarity on their next cash payout. On October 26, 2026, the Brazilian steelmaking giant Gerdau S.A. filed a Form 6-K with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) outlining the exact timeline and structure for its upcoming quarterly dividend distribution.

For US investors holding the New York-listed shares, the Board of Directors approved a gross cash dividend of R$0.34 per share. According to the official SEC filing dated October 26, 2026, the critical dates for the US-listed program are set for next month. The record date and the ex-dividend date for the US shares will both fall on November 12, 2026, with the actual cash distribution scheduled to reach accounts on December 22, 2026.

This dividend declaration arrived alongside Gerdau's third-quarter 2026 financial results, which highlighted a robust performance in its North American division. The company reported an adjusted EBITDA of R$3.8 billion for the third quarter of 2026, representing a 10% increase from the previous quarter. Notably, Gerdau's North American business segment contributed over 76% of this consolidated EBITDA, generating R$2.9 billion with a 27.7% margin—marking its highest profitability level in four years.

While the dividend is declared in Brazilian Reais (R$), US brokerage accounts will receive the payment converted into US dollars. The final dollar amount per share will depend on the prevailing foreign exchange rate at the time of conversion.
