The Brazilian real estate hedge fund index (IFIX) successfully consolidated above the key psychological level of 3,800 points, signaling a robust return of risk appetite in the local credit and real estate markets. The index closed the trading week at 3,806.50 points, marking a 0.17% gain over the five-day period. The recovery highlights renewed investor confidence in real estate receivables and paper funds following recent volatility.

The daily gains were spearheaded by Cartesia Recebíveis Imobiliários (CACR11), which registered a massive 10.56% surge to close at R$ 27.17 on June 26, 2026. The paper-based real estate fund (FII) led the broader market's upward momentum as buyers returned to high-yield credit assets. Meanwhile, liquidity in the sector remained highly concentrated in retail favorites, with Maxi Renda (MXRF11) leading the daily trading volume, registering R$ 2 million in transactions and gaining 1.14%.

This rebound in the real estate fund sector occurred alongside mixed movements in the broader Brazilian financial markets. On the equity side, the Ibovespa (IBOV) closed up 0.76% at 173,295.14 points. Among major blue chips, Itau Unibanco (ITUB4) gained 1.29% to R$ 42.24, while commodity giants faced downward pressure, with Petrobras (PETR4) sliding 1.01% to R$ 38.06 and Vale (VALE3) dropping 0.65% to R$ 78.15.
