IFIX Reclaims 3,800 Points as FII CACR11 Surges 10.5%
Brazil's IFIX real estate index closed at 3,806.50 points on June 26, 2026, supported by a 10.56% surge in the distressed paper fund CACR11.

The Brazilian real estate fund index (IFIX) closed at 3,806.50 points on June 26, 2026, marking a daily gain of 0.29% and successfully reclaiming the key psychological threshold of 3,800 points. The recovery was supported by a more constructive macroeconomic environment, including a deceleration in the mid-month IPCA-15 inflation reading, which brought marginal relief to local interest rate expectations despite a cautious tone from the central bank's Copom.
Leading the daily gains was the distressed paper fund Cartesia Recebíveis Imobiliários (CACR11), which surged 10.56% to close at R$ 27.42. The sharp rebound offers some relief to the fund's 25,000-plus unitholders following a severe sell-off earlier this year. The sell-off was triggered in May when the fund temporarily suspended its dividend distributions due to project delays and corporate disputes, such as those surrounding the Helvetia real estate receivables certificate (CRI).
While the broader real estate fund market showed signs of stabilization, high interest rates continue to weigh on long-term valuations. On the broader B3 exchange, major assets showed mixed results: PETR4 fell 1.01% to 38.06, VALE3 slid 0.65% to 78.15, ITUB4 gained 1.29% to 42.24, and the benchmark IBOV index climbed 0.76% to end at 173,295.14.
