Brazilian planemaker Embraer S.A. is executing a clear strategic pivot, simultaneously deepening its footprint in a critical Asian market and offloading a non-core asset to unlock value and sharpen its focus on **Brazilian aerospace**. The company announced a firm order for eight additional E190-E2 regional jets from Japan’s ANA Holdings Inc., increasing the airline group’s total commitment for the fuel-efficient aircraft family to 23 firm orders. Almost immediately following the jet order, Embraer revealed an all-stock merger for its cybersecurity arm, Tempest Security Intelligence, with Vision Cybersecurity, a company controlled by asset manager **SPX Capital**, to form a new company with R$700 million in projected annual revenue.
