One of Brazil's most recognizable global companies, aerospace giant Embraer, has finalized a deal to merge its cybersecurity subsidiary, Tempest Security Intelligence, with Vision Cybersecurity, a unit controlled by the Brazilian asset manager SPX Capital, creating a domestic technology powerhouse with over R$700 million in annual revenue. The transaction, announced on September 3, 2026, is structured as a share swap, with no cash changing hands between the parties, and is designed to create a scaled-up entity capable of competing in a global market increasingly pressured by a new wave of attacks and the rise of artificial intelligence.
