StoneCo sets Q3 2026 earnings date after massive cash payout
Nasdaq-listed fintech StoneCo will report third-quarter 2026 results on November 12, following a major $2.53 per share extraordinary dividend.

Fintech investors tracking payment processors are preparing to see how a major capital restructuring has impacted corporate balance sheets. Nasdaq-listed merchant acquirer StoneCo announced in an official press release that it will release its third-quarter 2026 financial results on Thursday, November 12, 2026, after the market closes.
The upcoming report represents the first full-quarter look at the company's financial health since it completed a massive capital return program. On May 4, 2026, StoneCo distributed an extraordinary cash dividend of $2.53 per share to Class A and Class B shareholders. The total payout, which amounted to approximately R$3.08 billion (Brazilian Reais), was funded by the strategic sale of its Linx retail software business unit.
While the payout provided immediate liquidity to shareholders, StoneCo's management explicitly clarified in regulatory filings that the transaction was a strict, one-time event rather than a recurring dividend policy. Analysts will closely monitor how the reduction in cash reserves affects the company's ability to fund credit expansion and handle rising interest rates in Brazil.
In its previous second-quarter 2026 financial report, StoneCo posted an adjusted basic earnings per share (EPS) of R$2.40, marking an 8.6% increase year-over-year. This growth was partially supported by R$3.0 billion in share buybacks executed over the preceding 12 months.
